Paragon

The Paragon project is an ambitious project that intelligently analyses historical document images. It uses advanced digital image processing techniques to automatically compare and collate large sets of document images that may vary in terms of quality and size. Unlike other expensive hardware solutions, it explores a pure software approach with minimal user intervention. Carried out in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, the project incorporates state-of-the-art methodology and offers innovative new avenues for the expansion of image analytics.
